Cheesy Beef Nachos

Since I know it is going to be a long night, I think of a snack we could eat while watching movies. I’ve decided to have the Beef Nachos.

We will need the following Ingredients:

*Nacho Chips

*Ground Beef

*Tomatoes

*onions

*Garlic

*Cream (Nestle Cream)

*Cheese (Cheez Whiz)

*pepper

Now that we have all the ingredients, let’s start making one!

FIRST-

Chop the onions, garlic and tomatoes into small pieces.

SECOND-

Saute the Ground beef with garlic and onions. Until it’s browned and tender then add the Tomatoes.

THIRD-

Add the Cream and Cheese then stir.

FOURTH-Β 

Add some pepper.

FIFTH-

prepare the Nachos!

Panna Cotta

Originally we are planning to make the Chocolate Mousse, but my mother bought a cake with the same flavor 2 days prior to our Date. My second option is the Panna Cotta.

Panna cotta, is a molded chilled dessert popular throughout Italy, is it easy to make and can be prepared in advance if you like.

What you need are the following ingredients:

*Cream ( Nestle All Purpose Cream) 1 Cup

*White Sugar (5 tablespoon)

*Fresh Milk (1 Cup)

*Gelatin Powder (2 tablespoon)

How to Make the Panna Cotta?Β 

FIRST-

In a Saucepan mix the milk, cream and sugar.

SECOND-

Low heat until Sugar is dissolved and remove pan from heat.

THIRD-

Add the Gelatin powder. Stir until dissolved.

FOURTH-

Put it in a nice bowl or glass.

FIFTH-

Cover, then put it in the chiller.

You can also add some red fruits such as raspberries, strawberries, or sweet cherries.Β It looks and tastes wonderful with fruits.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to buy some fruits. I just add some Lemon on the side for the presentation. πŸ™‚

Barbeque Ribs & Mashed Potato

Second on my list is the Barbeque Ribs, Ribs for our Main Course. Paired it with the yummy Mashed potato.

This recipe is also from a good friend of mine, Jester Leander. Thank you so much Chef!

What you need are the following:

Procedures are as follows;

FIRST

prepare the marinade sauce, combine all of the ingredients except the Ribs.

*Soy Sauce (1/2 cup)

*add vinegar (1/4 cup)

*add sugar (1/2 cup)

*add crushed garlic (7 gloves)

*add crushed ginger (half)

*add Hoisin Sauce (1 tablespoon)

*add sesame oil (1/2 tablespoon)

*add Honey (1 1/2 tablespoon)

*lastly add Chili Sauce (depends on your taste)

SECOND

Massage the Ribs into the Ribs thoroughly and gently.

THIRD

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

I cooked the Ribs using the Turbo Broiler.

Let’s start cooking the Barbeque Ribs!

Set your Turbo broiler in 350Β°F Β Temperature and set your timer 45 minutes to 1 hour. Don’t forget to turn it over half time.

yey! your Ribs is almost done, how about the yummy sauce huh?

Simmer or gently boil the Marinade Sauce, you can also add some flour if you like.

It tastes real good, I was so happy. It was the favorite of the night! Sweet and juicy!

Next the Mashed Potato

In my case, I didn’t have the Nutmeg so I only used the following:

Cream ( Nestle Cream)half , Butter (Magnolia Gold Unsalted) half, Potatoes, Salt and pepper

FIRST- Β 

*Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.

*Add potatoes and cook until tender. (15 minutes)

*Drain the Potatoes and transfer into a bowl.

*Cut the potatoes into small cubes.

SECOND-

In my case I used a blender, blend the potatoes until smooth.

THIRD-

In a pan mixed the Butter and the cream, add the potatoes and some pepper.

And Tadaaaaa.

Caribbean Wings

First on my list is the Caribbean Wings for our appetizer. Sounds delicious, yes?

This recipe is from a good friend of mine, Jester Leander. Thank you so much Chef!

What you need are the following:

But in my case, not everything is available. So I only used the following Ingredients:

Chicken Wings 1 1/2 kgs, Ginger (half), Garlic, Chili Sauce, Soy Sauce, Vinegar, Salt, Pepper, Cinnamon and All Spice.

Procedures are as follows;

FIRST

prepare the marinade sauce, combine all of the ingredients except the chicken.

*Mix equal amount of Soy Sauce and Vinegar (1/2 cup each)
*add the Crushed the garlic (7 gloves)
*add the crushed the ginger (half)
*add salt (1 tablespoon)
*add pepper (1 tablespoon)
*add some Cinnamon (1 tablespoon)
* add all Β spice (1 tablespoon)
*lastly add some Chili Sauce (depends on your taste)
SECOND

Massage the chicken wings into the sauce thoroughly and gently.

THIRD

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Let’s start cooking the Chicken wings!

In my case, I cooked the Chicken wings using the Turbo Broiler. It was my first time to use it on my own.

Set your Turbo broiler in 375Β°F or 190Β°F Temperature -Timer 30 minutes
turn it over after 15 minutes

yey! your Chicken is almost done, how about the yummy sauce huh?

It was quite dry, I know. I mistakenly added up much more flour than I intended. Sorry.
